Sheaffer special limited edition desk base commissioned from Royal Doulton.  Hand decorated ceramic desk base number 3093 of a world wide limited edition to 5000 pieces.  The soft contours are highlighted with brushed gold detail and compliment the elegance of the Sheaffer tapered pen.  Accompanying 23crt plated Sheaffer taper desk pen fitted (USA) with a 14crt inlaid medium nib and having the distinctive white dot on the taper.  The pen is a cartridge/converter filler. Sheaffer special limited edition desk set.  Commissioned from Royal Doulton.  This hand made and hand decorated ceramic desk set is No1772 of a world wide edition limited to 5000.  The soft contours are highlighted with brushed gold detail, and compliment the elegance of the Sheaffer tapered pen.  Sheaffer commissioned a matching fountain pen in white laque hand finish, which has the 14crt gold inlaid nib and the distinctive white dot on the taper.  The pen is a cartridge filler and the set comes complete with its certificate of authenticity and box, circa 1970-80? The box is slightly damaged but otherwise this desk set is as new.  Sold
