The squared shape of the barrel fits snugly in the hand transforming into a rounded shape to ensure perfect writing comfort. Created in a large oversized model as well as a slimmer version, the Waterman Exception is available with 23k gold-plated or silver-plated trim. The exquisitely crafted Waterman Exception fountain pen nibs are 18k solid gold and feature the Waterman 'ideal' and 'globe' hallmarks.
