Graf von Faber Castell Special Edition Schönbrunn Pen Of The Year 2016

The Pen of the Year 2016 was inspired by the Chinese lacquer panels and screens in the Vieux Laque Room, Schönbrunn Palace, Vienna, the private study of Franz Stephan. Following his death in 1765 Empress Maria Theresa had it redecorated as a memorial to her late husband.

Introduced in February 2016.

The Special Edition Schonbrunn POTY combines flamed maple with Hira Maki-e technique on Onyx.

24k gold plated cap and trims.

Large 18 carat gold, two tone nib.

Large fountain pen.

Total length 137mm.
