The Graf Von Faber Castell Pen of the Year for 2005 fountain pen is a limited edition writing instrument made of one of the most remarkable and durable leathers in the world that is both waterproof and fireproof (Galuchat). Galuchat uniquely combines properties that are usually mutually exclusive and offers soft and smooth feel to the user. This pen is designed with attention to the smallest detail and further enhanced with platinum plating to produce a very desirable limited edition fountain pen. It is individually numbered, presented in an exclusive wooden pen box, and is accompanied by a information booklet giving an insight into the inspiration for the design of the pen. An exclusive pen produced for 12 months only in 2005 by GvFC.
