Visconti Pens | Homo Sapiens
Visconti Homo Sapiens
The material employed in the manufacture of the Visconti Homo Sapiens range of pens is as old as the world. Volcanic ash from Mount Etna, antique bronze, palladium and titanium. The material used for the body and cap is produced from a proprietary new patented process, and is comprised of equal parts basaltic lava and a secret resin. The result is a material that is virtually unbreakable essentially flameproof and relaxing in use. The cap bands and pocket clip are forged from marine quality bronze. This requires no further plating and is simply polished to its natural finish.
Another unique feature of the Homo Sapiens is the 23k palladium DREAMTOUCH™ nib. A nib that requires no pressure whatsoever in order to write. The fountain pen filling system is a high vacuum power piston filler. The nib grades available are extra fine, fine, medium, broad and stub. Please note that from early 2019 these fountain pens are fitted with an 18k rose gold nib on the bronze and the same but with a dark anodized finished on the Dark Age.
