Montegrappa Extra Otto Fountain Pens

Inspired by a Montegrappa fountain pen developed over 80 years ago, the Montegrappa Extra Otto is a limited edition octagonal shaped version of the original Extra 1930 pen. A manifestation of Montegrappa values, the Extra Otto combines the innovation of state of the art technical solutions with the tradition of its aesthetic approach. Finishes currently available are Lapis, Malachite, Zebra, Shiny Lines and Butterfly, with each finish being limited to 888 numbered pieces. The trim is sterling silver, the nib is silver plated 18k gold available in fine, medium or broad nib grades, and the octagonal barrel and caps are manufactured from in an attractive choice of celluloid. Another detail is the rotating terminal at the end of the pocket clip that assists with the putting in and taking out of the pen into and from the pocket. These fountain pens are piston fillers and filled by rotating the terminal at the end of the barrel and use bottled writing inks.
