Parker Duofold Craft Of Travelling Fountain Pen
The Parker Duofold has been a symbol of excellence since it was first introduced in 1922, and still remains the flag ship in Parker's present pen range. Driven by a commitment to superior craftsmanship, every detail of this limited edition Duofold has been carefully thought out and executed.
Craftsmanship and vision collide to mark the 130th anniversary of the Parker Pen Company. What began in 1888 as George S Parker's simple mantra of striving to make a better pen is today celebrated with the limited edition release of 1300 unique Duofold fountain pens.
Each of the 22 components that make up this fabulous Duofold have been orchestrated to make it nothing less than extraordinary. Inspired by an ornate world map and George S Parker's global travel, the intricate gold pattern that adorns the pen represents his exploration and travels.
The pen itself features a gold plated cap engraved with a pattern inspired by a diagram of the globe viewed from the poles, the top of which is embedded with a 2crt Lapis Lazuli stone. The barrel has a golden map engraved into deep blue lacquer and the signature of George Parker whilst the solid 18k gold nib features a compass.
Presented in a luxurious gift box inspired by vintage luggage, a brochure presenting the Duofold limited edition pen is concealed in a compartment along with an authenticity certificate signed by Geoffrey S Parker, George's great grandson, a bottle of ink, cartridges and other exclusive touches make the Duofold Craft of Travelling fountain pen a limited edition not to miss.
