The Parker 100 fountain pen was launched in November of 2003. It has a steamlined, fluid shape, with 23crt gold or silver-plated gold trim. All gold trim Parker 100 fountain pens had 18crt gold nibs and silver trim fountain pens had 18crt gold rhodium-plated nibs. Parker 100 caps were finished in a shimmered gold or shimmered graphite effect and the barrels were lacquered in a choice of five colours. The Parker 100 fountain pen was available with a choice of extra-fine, fine or medium nibs.
