Art Collection M600 Pelikan Souverän Glauco Cambon

From a series of early 1900s advertising posters in the Pelikan archive one that dates from 1909, and that is imaged above, has been selected to be the inspiration for this new special edition fountain pen. Italian painter Glauco Cambon submitted a design for a Pelikan poster competition in 1909 and went on to win a prize with his submission being purchased by Pelikan for reproduction as a poster to advertise their inks. The reflections on the surface of the water in the painting have inspired the design of the new Special Edition Pelikan Souveran M600 Art Collection Glauco Cambon fountain pen.

The finish on the barrel is produced by first engraving a brass tube which is over layed with translucent laquers to create a reflective hologram effect. The barrel is then coloured and finished with addition layers of transparent polish.
