Pelikan Spirit of 1838 Fountain Pen

Pelikan is celebrating 180 years of manufacturing fountain pens in 2018.

To mark this anniversary they have produced the silver and black limited edition Pelikan Spirit of 1838, a fountain pen inspired by the classic striated Souveran range of Pelikan fountain pens.

You can see that the bird depicted on the top of the cap is tending its eggs, and if you look closer you will see that the eggs are represented by three inlaid diamonds.

An edition of just 180 pieces worldwide makes this a rare pen from the day of release and the joy of ownership will last for years to come. If you are fortunate to own one of your own this pen will surely be a favourite and a promising candidate for becoming a family pen for future generations.
